The 2020 Business of Art has gone viral!
Please take a moment to watch this short video featuring Kathy Cieslewicz, Founder and Director of the Business of Art and the DSU Sears Art Museum Director/Curator.
In an abundance of caution to protect our artists, presenters and staff, we are moving the Business of Art online. This year’s conference will be delivered via Zoom, an easy to use online meeting platform on October 23rd and 24th. Please be assured that we will make every effort to support you on this new online adventure.
The advantage of going online is that you can attend the conference live with the instructor safely from your home, art studio, or any location. In addition, you will be able to attend all of the classes instead of just a select few. All registered participants will be able to review recorded classes at a later date.
Get excited to see your friends, enjoy live interaction with instructors, and participate in the same high quality event as in years past. New this year is an incredible new series delivered by the Dixie State University Business Resource Center that will take place on Friday, October 23rd.
We are moving through this pandemic together. We hope to support you so you can keep creating art and be successful in business. We look forward to “seeing” you live on Zoom October 23rd and 24th.

We are excited to announce that the Business of Art is partnering with the DSU Business Resource Center. The DSU Business Resource center has helped us bring this conference online and we want to give them a big thank you for all of their help.
The Business of Art is held annually for artists and small businesses to come to learn and create a successful art business.
Dixie State University, in St. George Utah and the DSU Sears Art Museum, developed and sponsor this event as a community outreach program. Kathy Cieslewicz, DSU Director/Curator, originated the program and facilitates the event; Paul and Susan Bingham, owners of the Maynard Dixon Gallery serve as honorary founding co-chairs.
